"Sarah shows absolute commitment to not only her students but anyone around her. Sarah goes above and beyond for her students, whether it be trailering horses to shows, taking kids to shows all across Alberta or into the states when their parents can’t, or just everyday lessons.
Sarah shows every one of her students care and compassion, but she also does everything in her power to help them reach their goals. She doesn’t charge for the extra time or work she puts into her students, she just wants everyone to succeed in whatever their goals may be. From the occasional lesson to 4-5 days a week, she has no priority over students. She provides every aspect of her ability to teach.
Sarah encourages riders to go to other coaches, clinics, or shows without her to have the option of free learning. We never feel as if we aren’t allowed to seek other help and she always asks what we learned and how we will apply that new knowledge to our riding. Sarah will point us to other professionals who might be better suited than she is - which is seldom.
Sarah has been known to pop onto your horse if you are struggling with a particular aspect of the lesson. It is humbling and inspiring to watch her ride and connect with the horse. Her knowledge and passion for horses have saved many a horse's life during emergencies. Her calm demeanour keeps focus on what needs to be done and de-escalates panic, whether dealing with a sick or injured horse - or rider.
From groundwork lessons - including trailer loading - Christmas parties, or showing in Montana or California, Sarah is always there to stand behind you - and even dust you off - when you need it the most.
Her commitment to her riders goes above and beyond. It is hard to express how much we appreciate every aspect of what she does for us."
